A Work in Progress...

I promised pics -- and it's fun to share with you all how things are moving along!!

Right now it's dusty and grimy... but by Thursday morning it should be pristeen!

Tomorrow is the Big Day!!

OK... maybe not the REALLY big day!! But, I'll get the keys to the building tomorrow... and then Wed it will get a really really GOOD cleaning... and by Thursday afternoon, we'll actually have some furniture in there!!

Horn of America cabinets and Bernina sewing machines and sergers are coming in next week...

We won't open until mid-January, but we'll be in there working on getting the shop together... so if you're in the area, stop by and see us... and give us a HAND!! :)

If you're just really disappointed that you won't be able to shop for quilting fabric and notions for that special Christmas present, you can email me at janet@shiisaquilts.com and we can work out getting you a gift certificate!!

We'll plan a Fat Quarter folding party in early January -- so if you're interested in helping us, send me an email... participants will earn free FQ's, gift cards, and get a chance to see (and touch) all the new fabric.... isn't that what quilting is all about??
